Now that Windows 7 has been released, whats everyone's opinion?
Do you like/dislike it? Prefer it to XP or Vista? Or would rather just run FreeBSD or Linux? =)
Last night I dreamt I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone.

I'm actually digging Windows 7. It has proven to be stable. I've noticed a few minor bugs here and there, but that is to be expected. It runs faster than XP or Vista on the same hardware... so that's definitely a plus. I think Microsoft got it right for the first time since 2001.
Go away now or I shall replace you with a very small shell script.

that's my experience too..

Win7 has taken the correct step to make MS keep their market share.

i've too dabbled with gentoo (which was my first real exp with linux) and freebsd.. I've ended up concluding much the same as you.. fbsd is a breeze to work with on serverlevel, but windows is still easier on the desktop..
